Work Experience
WSP USA
Electrical Engineering Intern (December 2023 - Present)
WSP is a consulting firm that specializes in MEP engineering. I am an intern for the Property & Buildings group at the Tempe office. As an intern, I help with electrical design, circuiting, fault current calculations using SKM Power tools, and various other power aspects. Going in I had no background in Power, but getting an internship as a sophomore was rare, so I was both excited and appreciative for this opportunity. I knew there was going to be a steep learning curve, but I was excited to try something outside of my "expertise" in school. The knowledge I have gained from the people and real world applications is extremely important to me. I'm glad I got to experience the power industry.

I could go on an on about what I do for work at WSP, but nobody wants to read a report. If you would like to see more of what my day to day life was like, either contact me or click on the presentation below! For a better understanding, read the notes! (I believe presentation slides themselves should have minimal information)

UGTA - Undergraduate Teaching Assistant (August 2023 - Present)
A UGTA is a classroom aid and our duties are to help students inside and outside of class to enhance their understanding of the classroom content. I am a UGTA for a Digital Design class. One of the benefits of being a teaching assistant for this class is that it has a “flipped” classroom setting, meaning the students watch the lectures at home and work on assignments and homework in class. This method is a lot more interactive for UGTAs as we spend most of the time walking around answering questions. Now as far as the responsibilities of a UGTA go, we of course help students during class by answering questions, providing explanations and giving advice for the course, but we also hold review sessions and evaluate and grade quiz corrections outside of class. To be a UGTA, one must have already excelled in the course, thus this is an earned position as the focus is to help students excel through gained expertise. I've been a UGTA for the same course for 3 semester now, but I want to become one for a more difficult course next semester as well. I have the gained expertise in a lot of courses, the hard part is picking which one I want to focus on!

I have enjoyed every second at ASU. I have had great professors for the most part and I cannot wait to apply what I have learned into a professional work environment! I will graduate in 3.5 years (December 2025). I have over a 4.0 GPA technically, but if it wasn't weighted I'd still have a 4.0. Check my transcript on the Resume & Transcript Page!
2026
Arizona State
4+1 Programs for an MSE
I plan to do the Accelerated Masters Program at ASU to obtain an MSE in Electrical Engineering. I will start this program next semester and it will go until December 2026.

Fun Fact About Me
I got into MIT! The prestige would have been nice, but some dreams aren't financially attainable. A school does not define your abilities, just helps to boost one's ego. Don't believe me? Click to see my acceptance letter!
